PSS Urbania offered support to the project as Institutional analysis and urban data management expert. The task undertaken involved identifying the tools and mechanisms currently in place for channelling funds to Metropolitan and Municipal Assemblies (MMAs) in Ghana.

The team also conducted a study on the decentralisation framework in Ghana, providing recommendations to enhance the process and facilitate the implementation and maintenance of infrastructure or municipal services in metropolises with multiple districts.

PSS Urbania conducted a study on the existing urban data collection and analysis system in Ghana and provided recommendations for establishing an urban observatory to prioritise urban investments.
